I have always loved the medical field and after having to drop-out of college years ago, getting married, and having 3 children,as well as getting older my dream of working in the medical field was fading.I decided with the help of a friend to become a cna.Now after 9yrs.of working in nursing homes and assisted livings I have started to feel burnt out. That's when I took a chance on calling clincal skills training.I knew that I wanted to be a Phlebotomist but before enrolling into cst did not know of anyone that was offering just phlebotomy. Donna offered the class along with a reasonable price that I could not refuse.I like the fact that the class size is small which make learning easier and fun.Donna is a caring, kind, and great instructor that go above and beyond to help her students become successful. I'm glad that I went to clinical skills training to get the skills that I need to become a phlebotomist. By the way did I mention that I am a Certified Phlebotomist Tech. thanks to Donna!
Certified Nurse Assistant/Certified Phlebotomy Tech.
I have been a Medical Receptionist & Biller for 5 years and was pretty burned out, so I decided that I was going to take my career to the next level. The reason I chose the Medical Assistant program is because I wanted to broaden my abilities and be able to move around in other areas of the office as well. Being that I already have the administrative background of Medical Assisting I didn't need to take the whole course. Clinical Skills Training allowed me to complete only the clinical part of the program were unlike the traditional Institutes or Universities they want you take the whole program. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about drawing blood but Mrs. Donna ensured me that everything would be ok. Her patient, kind, loving, and giving personality has made an everlasting impression on me. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a new career and doesn't want to wait the 18-24 months that the traditional Institutes offer.
